Terms of Use
1. Acceptance
By downloading, installing, or using Power Gap ("the app") or visiting powergap.app ("the site"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app or site.
2. License
Pocket Ninja AB grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Power Gap for your own private, non-commercial purposes. You may not: copy, modify, or distribute the app or any part of it; reverse engineer or decompile the app; or use the app for any commercial purpose without written permission.
3. Subscriptions
- Free trial: New subscribers get 14 days free (one trial per Apple ID, first purchase only). Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it automatically converts to a paid auto-renewing subscription at the price shown at purchase.
- Auto-renewal: Power Gap requires an active subscription. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- Cancellation: Cancel anytime in your iPhone's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
- Refunds: All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Refund requests must be directed to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Price changes: We will notify you of price changes before they take effect.
4. Your data
You own all financial data you enter into the app. We do not claim any rights over it. See our Privacy Policy for details on how your data is stored.
5. No financial advice
Power Gap is a personal budgeting tool, not a financial advisor. Nothing in the app constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Always consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions. The app includes an AI assistant (Alice). AI-generated responses can be inaccurate or incomplete; they are provided for general information only and are never financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.
6. Availability
We strive to keep the app available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may suspend, modify, or discontinue the app at any time with reasonable notice where possible. The Alice cloud engine is subject to a fair-use limit; when it is reached, Alice continues to answer using the on-device engine.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Pocket Ninja AB is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any disputes that cannot be resolved amicably will be submitted to the Stockholm District Court (Stockholms tingsrätt) as the court of first instance. EU consumers may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr
10. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance. We will notify you of material changes via an in-app notice.
